  SIBA North West Beer Competition at Bolton Macron Stadium was home of a hat trick for Southport Brewery. Paul collected: Bronze - Golden Sands in the draught section Silver - Golden Sands bottled beer. Gold - was two years on the bounce for Dark Night bottled. Our latest award for our bottled ales was won by DARK NIGHT Brewed to commemorate the sinking of the Mexico and the lifeboat tragedy off the sands of Southport. A Dark Night indeed.   Southport Brewery has enjoyed another busy and successful year. Firstly can we thank all our faithful and new supporters. The loyal pubs and clubs, the deli`s and shops, bars and restaurants. Theaters and sports events, home events and gift boxes given as gifts. We hope this year has been a successful, happy year for you all. We brewed Black 5 in memory of the Southport to Preston railway crews to remember Ronnie Halsall`s passing too. In autumn our colours were Bronze and Gold as we won these awards . Due to popular demand our latest beer, BLACK 5 STOUT , has been released earlier. This 4.5% stout is brewed with beech smoked malt, to remember the age of steam. It is a dark, rich smooth stout with a creamy head. Enjoy!
